A city that runs on trotros, with no map
Greater Accra moves on trotros: shared minibuses with no fixed timetable and often no destination board. If you already know the routes, it works. If you're new, whether a visitor, a student, or someone who just moved neighbourhoods, it can be daunting to know which car to board and where to get down.
TroTro Guide captures that local knowledge, the stops, the routes, and the words the mate actually shouts, and puts it in your hand. It's built to work on low-end phones and patchy data, because that's what most riders carry.

Our routes and stops are built on real, community-verified data for Greater Accra, using OpenStreetMap as the foundation. Contributors on the ground help confirm routes, correct stops, and fill gaps.
Because the data is open (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL), the map of Accra's transit belongs to everyone, not locked inside one company.
